As you arrive at Villa Mongibello, prepare to be taken aback by the greenery and surrounding views. Enjoy the landscape of the ocean without being overlooked and go about your day in privacy.

The ground floor provides a generous sized kitchen, dining room and living room complete with an abundance of natural light and French doors. Alongside this, there are two double bedrooms with king sized beds and en suite shower rooms.

As you make your way up the wooden staircase, you will approach a beautifully designed mezzanine where you can enjoy the comforts of a lounge area, complete with a smart TV. This floor also has two double bedrooms each with an en suite shower room and terrace. An additional two double bedrooms are located on this floor with a shared shower room.

As you wonder out to the terrace, you will find a large private pool, outdoor barbecue and spacious dining area for al fresco meals.

Situated around a handful of towns, this villa is in the perfect location for exploring local amenities. Pagliara is just a short distance away, whilst Mascali and Carrabba are similarly close. Beaches are within reach too, with the coast being around a ten minute drive away.

Average weather

Perhaps Sicily’s main tourist destination, Taormina has something for everyone. A fabulous coastline, a land and history shaped by an active volcano and a choice of a low key evening or a livelier night a little further down the coast. The east coast’s history of being conquered has led to a rich cultural heritage with so many sites to see – most famously being the ancient theatres. With this in mind, it could be easy to miss out on a shopping experience – choose from the independent gift shops or the more well-known stores found in Catania.
