I previously worked for a top tax free shopping company for 11 years, working closely with exclusive high-end retail brands, hotels, tourist publications and restaurants in London and across Europe. Before this, I lived and worked in Ibiza for over 25 years, working for a leading tour operator and learning a great deal about the island and the tourism market. In 2014, I decided to move back to the island with my family and started using my experience to create an events company that supports weddings and villa rentals on the island. I now work with CV Villas, and love sharing my knowledge of the island and creating perfect holidays for our clients. I aim to offer a first class service, looking after destination management, general tourism, event management and concierge services.
Describe the perfect day in your destination?
As I have children my days of relaxing, exploring and partying are long gone, but I still have that twinkle in my eye and when I do ever get the chance on my own, with hubby or friends, I love to explore fully. Taking in the sights, beaches, architecture, history, culture and cuisine.
What are your top travel tips for your destination?
To embrace every moment, life is too short.
What local cuisine would you recommend to people staying in your destination?
There are many fabulous restaurants here in Ibiza ranging from traditional paella and fish to tapas, and then moving to all nationalities. There are many fabulous meat BBQ locations that really high quality, and then now also many restaurants who cater for vegatarians and vegans. Please get in touch if you wish for recommendations in certain locations and I would be happy to arrange your reservations.
What experiences would you recommend to our customers in your destination?
Es Vedra is certainly one of the locations that I'd highly recommend that you visit. This is a rock formation on the southern coast of Ibiza that hosts its very own breed of lizard and goat. The Formentera, for the beauty of its snorkelling spots, where you can have a delicious lunch in an awe-inspiring setting. A lunch at one of Ibiza's infamous beach clubs or a table in a night club there is definitely not one to be missed. I'd also recommend having a fun packed day out paddle boarding, and cliff jumping into the crystal clear waters. Do not miss Ibiza town for its beauty and vibrant buzz. Accommodating for all ages and styles, Ibiza is the best.
